Welcome to The Business Protection Team!

The Business Protection Team,

As legal situations arise within a business, many business owners try to solve a legal matter by doing a “Google search”. This does not help to solve the problem of your situation. Google is great for finding resources, restaurants to visit, and research for travel destinations when you are visiting the sites in Toronto or New York City. But Google is not your lawyer or attorney.

When it comes to reviewing your contracts or agreements. It is not your friend when you get in trouble with the law or when new laws or new government legislation or mandates are created. Google should not be your go-to when you have any legal questions about the legal operation of your business. Google also will not represent you.

Google will not review your contracts or your agreements. It will not write your contracts for your company.

It will not give you or your company any clarification if one of your staff members is sexually assaulted by another staff member. It will not help your company send out legal letters on your behalf. It will not send out collection letters to your delinquent clients who owe your company money.

Google is great, but not for being your lawyer and an attorney.

Google won’t help you to protect your trademarks, or your intellectual property if someone or another company is trying to steal any of your intellectual property or is using it.

Why should you use and have a professional team of lawyers or attorneys on your side?

First of all, it can keep you and your business stay out of trouble.

Second, you can have more cash flow by having the lawyers and attorneys to write collection letters on your behalf.

Third, they can review all types of contracts that are not executed and that have been executed that you may or may not completely understand all the wording in the contract.

Fourth, they can give you any legal advice on any legal matter pertaining to your business.

Fifth, they can write letters or make phone calls on your behalf providing it is in your company’s best interest.

What do I see?

What I see is that many business owners will not ask a lawyer or attorney for a matter that is less than $1,000. If they have purchased a product that is defective, and the company won’t honor the warranty it is often easier to just give up on getting it replaced and chalk it up as an expense that is a waste than to deal with it legally. However, it’s not right. And you deserve to get it resolved.  I also see that service providers such as internet or cellular companies also continue to push us, little business owners, around. They always seem to be overcharging for something. It’s always a hassle dealing with them. You call today and it gets fixed, then you have to call again the following month. It’s the same problem.

How many times have we, as business owners let things slide like this? This has cost us thousands of dollars a year…

We don’t call our lawyers or attorneys because we think it is cost-prohibitive. And you are right. The average hourly rate is now $391 per hour.

Business owners will even barely even use a lawyer or an attorney for the big stuff, such as contract review or dealing with an insurance company that won’t pay out a claim.

We just think it is smart to have access to a legal team for your business. It doesn’t cost you money. It saves you money. It helps your business to stay out of trouble.

With our Business Legal Protection Plans, you have the ability to have help you deal with the little things that cost you thousands of dollars yearly.

With just one use of the Business Legal Protection Plans can give your business an immediate return on investment.

“For me personally, on the first time that I used the Business Legal Protection Plans, it put back over six figures into my pocket and it saved me multiple five figures with just a single use.” Brett V Deguire

All those $200 in overcharges, or companies not honoring good quality products or services to your business add up quickly. What also adds up is all those people who owe your business money. They say that they will pay you. The question is when? The economy is tough right now. Inflation is up. Clients are falling further behind. If they fall behind with you, then you can fall behind on paying your expenses as well. Then you will have larger legal problems.

Most small businesses have an average of five legal matters a month where they have been overcharged by companies. Another major problem is that neither the company nor the client has paid your company.  This can easily add up to $1,000 a month, or $12,000 a year. I am sure that the figures are a lot higher for your small business but let’s leave it there at the moment.  Part of the service plan will have the lawyers write collection letters on your behalf. When would you like to start to receive that money that is owed to your business?

Years ago, when I was starting out in business for myself, I didn’t know who to call or who to use. I thought that I was saving money by not hiring a lawyer or attorney. Hiring a lawyer or an attorney doesn’t cost you money. It makes you money. Because you can then knock off all the little things in which you or your company has been taken advantage of.

Getting the right professional advice can save your business by you knowing and being aware of the old laws, new laws, regulations, and what is inside of the contracts that we are bound to.

Today the laws are changing so fast that we can’t even keep up. As business owners, we need to be up to date with everything that pertains to our business.

Our teams of lawyers specialize in all areas of law that will cover all of your business needs. You will talk to the right lawyer or attorney for that exact situation regardless of whatever business of law that is for.

You have full access to the team for an unlimited amount of business issues it is for.

If you are looking at expanding into another province, state, or into Canada or USA then you are able to get all those questions answered as well. That lawyer and attorney will be in that province or that state that you inquiring about as well as them being an authority in that area of law that you require them to be in.

A lot of companies don’t use lawyers or attorneys just because of the sheer cost of the fees. They think it is unaffordable. And most companies won’t call a lawyer over a small problem like a defective product that costs a few hundred dollars. With our plans, the small stuff is covered, as well as a lot of the big stuff.

Trying to do a Google search to solve your legal situation is costing your business, your hard-earned money, and worse, your time.

Our Business Legal Protection Plans & Business Legal Trail Defence Plans are cost-effective for your business. It makes you money.

“When you ignore legal situations, they don’t go away. They end up getting bigger. It’s like compound interest but working against you. The problems get bigger as well as the expenses.” Brett V Deguire
